Can someone give me any information on how to start a day spa?

IM TRYING TO START A DAY SPA. ONE THAT HAS TWO LARGE SAUNA'S, AND TWO LARGE JACUZZI'S. CAN ANYONE PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION ON HOW TO GET STARTED?Can someone give me any information on how to start a day spa?

I don't know much about that but, you need good advertising and good prices.
Having hot tubs and saunas are not enough to start a spa. You will need a cosmetologists Manager's license to manage the spa.


You will need to select a prime spot where to open the service.


Monitor water purification and may have to invest into a pristine water conditioner and filter.


You will need to have on staff but not limited to all: cosmetologists, aesthetitians, aromoatherapists, massotherapists (they may be independant contractors), pedicure / manicurists, dermabrasion techs, and a bistro to supply small meals for a day at the spa contract.


permanent cosmetics requires a separate entrance and must be separated from the spa as they are regulated by the health department.
