Can going in a spa on day of ovulation ruin chance of conceiving?

Does anyone know how a spa will affect my chances of conceiving if I am ovulating at the time? Can going in a spa on day of ovulation ruin chance of conceiving?
Men who are trying to become dads should probably avoid frequent dips in the hot tub because the testes are very sensitive to heat. Men's testes are outside the body for a reason 鈥?they need to be in a cooler environment to produce healthy sperm.

It can take two to three months to produce a mature sperm cell and it's the immature sperm that are especially vulnerable, so a trip to the hot tub in January can impact developing sperm that's released as late as March, even April.

In the same way, the sperm count of an avid bicyclist who rides nearly every day might be lowered as a result of heat around the scrotum, which is sandwiched between his legs and bike seat.

Hot tubs, bicycling, saunas 鈥?even wearing tight underwear 鈥?are probably okay in moderation, but a man with a marginal sperm count might want to pass on these activities while he's trying to help his partner conceive.

There's no evidence to suggest that heat affects a woman's eggs, but we do know that hot tubs and saunas aren't recommended during pregnancy. Can going in a spa on day of ovulation ruin chance of conceiving?
It very possibly could affect your chances of concieving. My Ob/Gyn, told my hubby and me(we tried for 3yrs before concieving, with the help of Clomid) AVOID ANY heat source, both of you. What happens, is it affects the woman's cervical mucus, and the general ';atmosphere'; of the woman's cervix, making the possibility of conception drop. So to answer your question, treat your nether regions with the utmost care, ';with kid gloves'; for a better chance of conception. Good luck and God Bless!
They say that BOTH men and women should avoid heat while TTC. I would say anyhting can happen but I would try to aviod it. Good Luck
It shouldn't affect it at all.
Probably not, but you dont want too much heat in your body it could slightly fry your egg, no pun intended.

sauna and jacuzzi for less time than usual.
