i think a nice dinner would be wonderful with a gift of a spa day for her and a friend .just tell her you think she works too hard and this will help her to relax and maybe she will pick you as the friend.Day spa for a first date?
I think that is a very thoughtful idea, but maybe not the best choice. A spa day would probably be wonderful for her, but since you are a guy (I'm assuming) that might be a little awkward and uncomfortable, especially since you guys aren't that close. I would suggest treating her to a nice dinner, and getting her a bouquet of flowers or something like that. Then, later on when a holiday comes around maybe you could get her a certificate for her to go to the spa or get her nails done.
Surprise her NO. Tell her what you want to do and why, then ask her how she feel about that. It may not be the right time of the month when you wants to go to a spa or feel comfortable with this idea until she knows you better.
Alternative: Dinner at a Comedy Club
I personally would like it, it's very unexpected though... Maybe wait a few dates.
Go with the usual on a first, dinner, and a movie.
