I plan to do a spa day but i have no idea where to start.

what to use? what to buy? which at home remedies are best?

(i heard tea bags for under the eyes vs. cucumbers?)

any tips or suggestions are helpful (:

i have a cd of nature sounds... somewhere.

maybe a list of what i need to find/buy?How would i go about creating an at home spa day for my friends and i?
Well you should make station for example:

Toes station

Eyes station

You could find a recipe for avocado masks and you can do Mannie's and petties and you can have some snacks like Chocolate covered strawberry's and of course the cucumbers those are just some small ideas.

Someone answer my question.

okay, first you need to create a serene space for you guys to relax. maybe the master bathroom or something. turn the lights low or dim them and fill the room with candles. make sure you don't use scents that clash in the candles or it'll be too strong and give everyone a headache. maybe candles that have no scent or all one scent would work. try like, lilac or fresh cotton. spread out towels on the floor along with fluffy pillows for places for everyone to sit. your nature sounds cd would work perfectly to set the mood!!

next, make sure you know what will and won't irritate your guests skin before buying anything. after that's cleared, you'll need to buy face masks, lots of lotion, foot and hand scrub, nail clippers, nail paint, face lotion, and i'd imagine tea bags might irritate some people's eyes, so have on hand cucumbers as well. and maybe some of those sleep masks if they'd prefer those.

You can have a few hand-held electric back massagers to use and you could buy a foot soak. you pour in water and it heats and then you pour in your bath salts/foot scrub or what ever and soak your feet. like those pedicure stations except minus the big chair. which, speaking of, you could buy one that attaches to the back of a chair and place the chair in the spa room and that could be a treatment, but it's just an idea. the foot soaker would be something like this: http://www.lightinthebox.com/Free-Shippi鈥?/a> a bit pricey, but i bet you could find a cheaper one at walmart.

ask the guests to bring their robe or a comfy pair of pajamas to wear, and have a place for them to sit when they're not being treated. maybe another room, to keep the ';spa'; peaceful. in that room have food and drinks, maybe the tv or some music or magazines to entertain them!

most importantly, have fun(:
If you want to make it about you guys hanging out Avon have a whole list of home Spa finder Products. Mud mask, a ton of food stuff. I have the hot stones and towel set. You pop then in the microwave with a little water and its like a hot rock massage. The hot towels are good to open pours before or after mud mask.

Try http://www.youravon.com/mkobbeman and search spa finder or foot and a ton will come up. We got some fun stuff and did it in my college apartment one night.
